Whether playing sports or exercising, you are consuming more oxygen and metabolizing energy through muscle work. This process creates free radicals, lactic acid and a mild metabolic acidosis. Trainers Love Alkaline Water

A very popular show on TV  production is The Biggest Loser. About 20 or so severely overweight people are given a chance to go to a fitness ranch to lose weight and learn healthy habits. They also have two trainers that help them learn to eat right and train them in a fully equipped gym. One of those trainers is Jillian Michaels.Jillian Michaels loves Alkaline Water

Jillian is the drill sergeant of trainers. She’s the in your grill, kick your butt type of trainer. She doesn’t take any nonsense and has no tolerance for whining and excuse making. Sometimes that’s just what people need to jolt them out of the habits that have gotten them there in the first place.  I actually have a workout DVD and she cuts no slack.

She also had her interview posted on the treehugger.com website that endorses Kangen.

TH: What do you do on a daily basis that impacts both your health and the environment?

JM: I have gone off the deep end on this. I find that when one has the knowledge and the means they have a responsibility to make the ethical choice. With regard to my diet, I always go organic. I shop at local farmers’ markets whenever possible. I have given up all animal products except for fish that has been ethically fished like ocean caught salmon, farmed arctic char, farmed trout, pacific cod, tilapia, crab, shrimp, and farmed oysters. I use all natural beauty products like Olive Oil, brown sugar for scrubs, avocado and ethical organic brands. My cleaning products are all green – and got rid of paper towels almost entirely and use rags instead. I use a Kangen water Unit  for drinking water and put in stainless steel canteens, never bottled water.
